The reversible corset is finished 🩷💚

This project taught me so much, especially that the reversible style works best on corsets without the hip curves. I already have a few patterns in mind to try this with 👀 Another lesson: always use flat steel boning in the front seams (as well as lacing pieces) to keep everything straight and flat.

ASMR for the soul… UPDATE: I had to scrap this project, for now 🥲 This particular leather ended up being too thick for the design, and I realized it would be too bulky in certain areas with my current method. I’ll modify the design to reduce the bulk, but alas I’ll have to push this project further down the queue now. It hurts me to waste this fabric so I’ll try my best to salvage it.
